Support groups create a safe, confidential, supportive environment or community and a chance for participants to develop informal mutual support and social relationships. They also educate and inform participants about dementia and help participants develop methods and skills to solve problems.
This group provides a supportive environment for individuals who have recently transitioned out of their caregiving roles for loved ones with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia. This group aims to help participants navigate the emotional, practical, and social aspects of like after caregiving.
