Music, dance and art can enrich the lives of people with Alzheimer's disease. They allow for self-expression and engagement, and can create a sense of accomplishment and purpose, even after dementia has progressed. This state-wide series is intended to bring the arts and their many benefits to caregivers and their loved ones living with dementia.
We are featuring a variety of opportunities for caregivers and their loved ones living with dementia to include gallery tours, painting classes, dance classes and music therapy all at no cost to attendees. We will also pair each opportunity with a short awareness presentation about the Alzheimer's Association and resources we have available for caregivers. Some programs may have limited availability so sign up today! Additional resources can be found here: https://www.alz.org/help-support/caregiving/daily-care/art-music
