The purpose of early-stage support groups is to provide a safe and supportive environment of peers who are living in the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia and the care partners. These groups offer dementia-related education, emotional support and connections with resources so that the group members may enhance their lives in the midst of the disease.
This group is for people living in Illinois, Indiana, or Kentucky, who are in the early stages of dementia or mild cognitive impairment, who are aware of their diagnosis, and who are willing and able to talk about the impact of memory loss on their lives with others. It meets by zoom the second Tuesday of each month at 10:00 a.m CST. Pre-screening is required to participate. Call 1-800-272-3900 for screening
