Support groups create a safe, confidential, supportive environment or community and a chance for participants to develop informal mutual support and social relationships. They also educate and inform participants about dementia and help participants develop methods and skills to solve problems.

Holiday Schedule: Due to this month'smeeting falling on Christmas Eve (and New Year's Eve being one week later), the December support group will take place on January 7th. We will return to the normal meeting schedule on January 28th. Are you a care partner facing the challenges of caring for a loved one with Down Syndrome who has been diagnosed with dementia?The Alzheimer's Association has partnered with the Down Syndrome Association ofCentral Ohio to provide care and support.If your loved one is 40 years of age or older,this group offers the opportunity to connect with others and receive support.
This caregiver support group meets virtually on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 6pm. Pre-registration is required.First-time attendees, please callMissy Rouseat 614.643.2135.
