Frontotemporal dementia is a group of disorders that cause deterioration and shrinkage in the front and side lobes (regions) of the brain which control decision-making, thinking, and behavior.Although FTD is a disorder with characteristics in common, there are a number of variants that exist, presenting with unique symptoms, diagnosis information, and treatment plans. Join us this week as the Memory Center atUnity's Neuropsychology team discuss cognitive and behavioral issues centered around Frontotemporal dementia and primary progressive aphasia. *This five-part series is intended for caregivers of persons living with Frontotemporal dementia or primary progressive aphasia.*
