Support groups create a safe, confidential, supportive environment or community and a chance for participants to develop informal mutual support and social relationships. They also educate and inform participants about dementia and help participants develop methods and skills to solve problems.
This virtual support group is for individuals living with mild cognitive impairment (MCI), early-stage dementia, or other forms of memory loss. The goal isto provide emotional rejuvenation, peer support, and guidance in a welcoming environment.
Thisbi-monthly group,hosted by AGE of Central Texas and facilitated by the Alzheimer's Association,meets virtually the1st and 3rd Wednesdays of every month from 2:00 - 3:00 pm.
