Did you know that emerging evidence shows hearing loss may contribute to a person's risk of cognitive decline?This presentation provides a brief overview of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, and informs the community of the latest research on the connection between hearing loss and dementia.Free hearing assessments by a licensed audiologist will be available. This program is presented in partnership with theHoward County Office on Aging and Independence and Gateway Audiology.
