24/7 Helpline: (800) 272-3900
The purpose of early-stage support groups is to provide a safe and supportive environment of peers who are living in the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia and the care partners. These groups offer dementia-related education, emotional support and connections with resources so that the group members may enhance their lives in the midst of the disease.
This is an 8-session group that meets every Wednesday from May 7th to July 2nd, from 10:30 to 11:30 AM, for individuals in the early stages of dementia. Running concurrently with this group is a caregiver support group. Pre-registration is required by calling 800.272.3900. * Please note: On May 21st, instead of a support group session, the caregiver group will have an educational program, and the people with dementia (PWD) group will have respite provided by LIAD
